Cracks in Adršpach

Can you place a knotted sling? Can you get up something easy on sandstone but still have no idea how to move in Adršpach? Would you like to take your crack climbing further, tick some beautiful routes, and talk it all over in the pub in the evening? Then this course is exactly for you.

Crack technique — from finger cracks to wide chimneys, stopping wherever it grinds the most
Placing knotted slings

Room for questions and for endless talk about climbing
Prerequisites
Experience climbing outdoors (you can tie in, belay and abseil)
A willingness to try new things, even when they occasionally hurt
Being able to climb at least a short section of hand crack
Equipment
Climbing gear: Climbing gear (available to borrow apart from climbing shoes): harness, helmet, climbing shoes, HMS carabiners (3×), belay device, prusik cord, personal anchor sling, crack gloves, and ideally tape or socks too.
Clothing and personal kit: Sportswear (long sleeves and trousers strongly recommended), sturdy shoes, a small rucksack, food and drink (at least 2 l), sunscreen, insurance card.
We run our courses with respect for the rock and for the rules of each climbing area. If a course cannot go ahead because of the weather, we will arrange an alternative date.
